The University of Peloponnese offers the opportunity for researchers to conduct Postdoctoral Research in fields that fall within the research interests and academic subjects of its Departments.

Postdoctoral research is defined as research conducted within an academic unit of the University of Peloponnese by a researcher holding a Doctoral Degree and is accepted by the Department as part of updating studies related to advanced research.

The main objectives of conducting postdoctoral research in the Department of Digital Systems are as follows:

a) The extension of the results of the researcher's doctoral thesis into new scientific directions that interest the Department.

b) The development of new research areas in the Department, related to the scientific area of the researcher's thesis.

c) Contribution to approaching specific research problems that concern the Department.

d) The enhancement of scientists capable of contributing to the progress of science, research, and applications.

e) The recognition of academic prestige and international distinction of the University's research work.
