The Department of Digital Systems accepts applications for doctoral candidates for the purpose of awarding a PhD. The following thematic directions are provided:

  • Software, Information Systems and Theoretical Informatics
  • Hardware, Communications and Telecommunications

The objectives of the program can be summarized as follows:

  • The promotion of knowledge and the development of research in the field of Digital Systems and related sciences and disciplines
  • The creation of scientists-researchers holding PhD degrees able to contribute to the promotion of research, technology and higher education in the field of Information Technology and Digital Systems

Admission Criteria and Deadlines for the Submission of Applications

Holders of a Master Degree related to a relevant subject or those who have a degree in higher education in Greece or abroad (recognized) and have research activity in a related subject are admitted to the PhD. Applications can be submitted at any time during the academic year.

Institutional Repository – Electronic License
The document for the Electronic License of a PhD manuscript must be completed by those who complete their doctoral dissertation in one (1) copy addressed to the library of the University of the Peloponnese.
